Sausages Make Me Hungry

Do you know I have noticed something weird? It is the sausages (not every one but a lot of them) that make me feel hungry. The meat makes me not hungry but sausages do. I suspect some of the seasonings inside ignite my appetite. It is not only one sausage of particular manufacturer it is almost all of them. At first I though it was the salt, but when I eat roasted meat with salt and vegetables I do not feel the same hunger an hour later. I am not fat now since I am still young, but maybe I will need to stop eating those sausage, I don’t need to eat so much.

My Son Destroyer

I had very pretty tree wall sculptures in the kitchen. My little son had destroyed them. You must know they were made from metal. They were with solid strong and sturdy craftsmanship, but alas this was not enough. My little childster had destroyed them. I feel pity. I thought they were indestructible else I could have hidden them. My little Robert destroys everything his hand can touch. He is a child after all and from where he got the strength do to what he did I have no clue. My eldest son George was not as Robert. I wonder from where he had inherited this destructive force of his.

Why We Are Fat

It is the air conditioner that needs to take the blame for us being fat. The modern insulation the constant air conditioning makes us with fragile health and is one of the causes for obesity. So if you want to loose weight – stop air conditioning and open the window. You will loose calories for keeping your body temperature. Literally you need to do nothing – you will loose weight out of the tin air. I am joking of course. No one will sit in the cold during the winter just to loose some pounds. But I believe this to be true – we are consuming les energy for keeping body temperature – air conditioning is doing this for us.

Do I Need One for the Bathroom Too?

I have bought today five tin wall crosses – one for each of the rooms in my house. I haven’t bought one for the bathroom though. I don’t know whether I need to place a cross there too. I want God close to me. I want something to remind me of Him everyday. I just wonder is it right to place a cross in the bathroom. It seems rather radical to me but I also wonder isn’t it right that God is everywhere with us – even in the bathroom. So why not to have a cross in the bathroom too?

Resources We Are Throwing away

I love to eat fish fillet in vegetable oil. I know the oil makes it with extra calories I don’t need but I like the taste. This oil is something I want to talk about now. I don’t eat the sauce i.e. the oil. I throw it away. I made one small experiment. I started colleting it in one jar. Guess what? In a week I have almost filled jar. This oil is valuable resource. Not for eating of course but for fuel for instance. It can be refined and used for biodiesel in cars for instance. You may say big deal – one jar. I burn hundreds of jars gasoline per week in my car. One small jar is not big issue, but if all the people that throw away excessive oil gather it instead of wasting it, I think this will be one small step into better management of our resources. This will lead to less pollution at the end and we will leave to our children a better place to live. We need to think ahead. Earth does not have unlimited resources.

Wall Decor for My Clinic

I need advice. Shall I opt for two or three flower wall sculptures for the reception of my clinic? It’s a huge room, a bit longer, and I need a lot of wall decor and accessories to make it as cozy as possible. The flower sculptures I mentioned are on sale in an online decor store and I’m afraid if I don’t buy three now, they will soon be over and if I’m not happy with the result I won’t find the same piece to match the other two. I’m willing to buy three now but it’s my partner who is not happy with my decision.

Happy Cow Meat

I want to eat meat from happy cows. I mean it seriously. Animals can sense fear frustration panic. They sense it from the smell. Smell comes from chemicals released from your body. This is proof for me that misery leads to chemical markers inside the meat of cows with miserable life. I am absolutely sure those chemicals are not health friendly. I have seen how they grow cows for meat. I have seen how they slaughter them. I am 100% sure those are not happily living cows. When I eat meat from animals feeling miserable I become miserable too. Believe me or not I am behind this.

Must the Daughter Be as the Mother?

I am meeting one girl. She is lovely, kind and clever. I might say I like her. I have been to her place several times. She lives with her parents for now in her own room of course. What made me impression is how tasteless was the house decorated. The only good impression was the flower wall sculptures in her room. She told me the rest of the house was decorated by her mother. I can not get it how she can choose and have a great taste while her mother has no taste at all? And they say the mothers and the daughters are the same.

I wanted to buy a new camera. I had never had a good camera since now. I am a fan of photographing so I picked a good expensive Canon model. It was a new fantastic piece of equipment but…. it lasted one day only. I even had not enough time to read the manual. I simply dropped it on the floor the next day I had bought it. It has defect’s warranty but not a fool-proof warranty. I am still angry at me and I can not ease. How can this be possible? How I can be so clumsy? Pfuuu… I am getting angrier now. Better to stop writing about it…

It Is Not Right in This Way

My wife and we are invited to an event. It is related to one of our relatives. My wife is deeply religious. I share some of her views but she is over-zealous. Now she is determined to bring as a gift few decorative wall crosses. And I know that this man for whom the present is, is true atheist. She knows that too. She knows it very well and yet she is going to bring him that present. I don’t think this gift will be appreciated. And I don’t think this is the way to bring God do this man. Anyway she will do it. But sometimes I wish she listens to me in these moments. She won’t achieve anything. She might do more harm than good even she has good intentions.

We Must Stop Using Paper

Paper was a necessity for humankind. But you can note I am saying “was”. For what do we need paper anymore? We have computers and storage devices that can process and store data with speed and in volumes that exceed any “paper-made or “paper-stored” kind of information. Displays evolve and now we have thinner and lighter devices that we can drag everywhere with us. We can have all that we need for our lifetime stored in the hard drive of a laptop. If we have access to the internet we can touch and see information that needs thousands of lifetimes to gather or store on paper. For what we are using paper. Why we need to put anything on paper? One can say to prevent forgery, or to have it in our hands. Come on… - forgery, people used to forge paper-made documents in the past they can do it with electronic ones – people can and will always do forgeries – this is not a reason. To have it in your hands you can see on your monitor much better with more details and few things simultaneously – this is not a reason too. The conclusion is simple and logical – paper is absolute, why then are we still using it?

Not a Good Way to Make Things

My husband plans to open a bar or a restaurant. He thinks it is not a big deal. He thinks he will spend some money – buy some furniture, decorate a bit the place hire good personal and voile he has his restaurant. He is so hugely mistaken. He thinks other will do the work for him. Like he said to me – you are women decorations are women stuff – so bring here some nice grapes wall hangings or sort of things for a restaurant to make it look nice. But he still he has no idea how the chair and the tables will look like. This is not the way as we should do the things if we are to run any kind of business. There is a mess before we start and what will happen if in case we really try to do something. I hope this is only temporarily, else I will be tortured by his haste and incompetence.

Working in a Greenhouse

When we were still dating with my ex-husband he used to work for a company which had several large greenhouses. He often used to take me with him and his managers didn’t mind that. We had nice time together and I actually discovered that I liked working with flowers. Soon I began to help him. They hired me and appointed me his assistant. We worked together for nearly 5 years. Then we divorced and understandably I preferred to quit my job. Several months after we parted, I opened my own flower shop and earn much better than ever before. So even in the hardest situations there is always something good.

Wall Art Instead of Wallet

A friend of mine had invited me to visit her on a good occasion. I was glad to accept the invitation since I have not seen her for long time. I thought a small gift would be proper. My intention was something small yet a thing to remind her of me. A wallet was the original idea, but I ended up with kitchen wall decor instead. I know she loves to cook and spends a lot of time in the kitchen. She can think of me when she sees this art that I will give her. I think I made the better choice.

Earth’s Structure

I saw a lecture in astronomy (on-line) where the tutor was explaining about how the Earth is built. We have a metal core where all the heavy metals have sunk. Ups… ALL of them? Why we can find heavy elements in the Earth’s surface then? If they are sunk to the middle how did they get on the surface? Volcanoes? But volcanoes erupt magma which originates not from the core but from much more distant area – the upper mantle. According to the theory Earth was hot liquid ball a long time ago. There was plenty of time all the heavy elements to sink to the center of the planet. I may agree with this but still I can not get it how we can have pretty heavy elements on planet’s surface?

From all the marvels of the human civilization I love the internet most. Forums are my favorite there. I think they are magnificent meanings of communications between people. You can find valuable information there. You can see opinions about products not sugar coated and blurred by advertisement campaigns. You can find advice for almost everything – from cooking, buying PC to even raising kids. I was wondering what to buy for decorating my kitchen. I had some ideas but they were not well formed in my mind. So I did made a photograph of my kitchen and I had posted it in my favorite forums. I have now kitchen wall art hanged there thanks to the ideas from the people in the forums. And it looks great. Indeed you can find everything you need.

Will Chocolate and Cakes Be More Expensive

Cocoa if getting more and more expensive and as we know it is a major component of chocolate and many cakes. This will make their price imminently rise. The price of cocoa is higher than its historical … stop!!! – higher but in absolute measuring or just it costs more each year in some currency? Everything raises its price. It is a process called inflation as I remember. By which index the author of the articles claiming the chocolate will raise, by which index I repeat they measure the “more expensive”. A hundred years ago, with ten dollars you were able to feed like a prince a whole family a whole week and now you can not have even a decent lunch with such a sum. Maybe cocoa was 10 dollars a ton in those times. Now if it is a thousand dollars does it makes it more expensive?

Everything Is a Matter of Perspective

We had a nice family dinner together with my wife only, without the kids. We do this once every month. While we were there in this nice place my wife was fascinated by the large restaurant wall art hanged. When we get back she made a research and she bought just the same piece. Not exactly the same though. The size was smaller. She placed it in our kitchen but the look was different. We thought at first it is the lighting so we bought lights and we tried to copy the same way they were put at the restaurant but this did not worked either. As I can see now the perspective in our kitchen is different and even with proportionally smaller piece we can not achieve the same effect.

Respect the Food

Our forefathers had a great respect to the food. They used to spend most of their time working to have the daily. Now it is not the same. No one starves (at least in USA in other places it may be other) today and we have more of a problem to restrict us eating less. Food is abundant. Maybe this is a bit wrong. Food needs to be a little more expensive, because this is the way how people will learn to respect it again. When you respect the food you don’t throw it away as we do now. Throwing away food is a sacrilege. We destroy our environment to produce it and later we dispose of it because we do not care if we produce more than we need. This needs to be changed. We are loaning from our future generations. We have a full stocks of food in the supermarkets but at what price? If we continue this way system will bankrupt and Earth will loose the life support we have been so graciously given.

My Son Is So Artistic

My son shows an artistic nature and yet he is only 5 years old. Today I had left them both with his mother in front of one stand showing wall art for home and when I got back in frothy minutes they were still there. He has a remarkable affection to art. When he sees painting he always wants to go there to se it and to touch it. And he always paints all the time at home. Sometimes I wish he was not so artistic because I had already repainted his room twice to hide his “works of art” but I intend to encourage him in this. To be of artistic nature is something very good I think.

Expensive Is Not Always Good

Yesterday I had bought white wine that taste like machine oil. Not that I have been drinking machine oil since young boy but still I know the smell and I know the taste of machine oil. The wine does not smell exactly but resembles quite the same taste. What makes me talk (or write actually) about it is the price. A bottle that costs more than 20$ should taste a little different I suppose. I am not a connoisseur of the wine but I have food receptors that can tell me the difference between good and bad taste. Expensive means good or at least it should mean. How else a common fellow like me should distinguish good wine out from the ordinary?

Why My Mother Intervenes

My mother thinks my posters are crappy. She does not call them crappy exactly but she does not find them good at all. I think they are a beautiful wall art. Without them my room will be dull, cold and boring. They bring color and life. I don’t want to live in a sterile environment. If it is up to my mom she will let me live in a room with snow white walls and nothing inside. I don’t want her to enter inside my room. I live inside my mom has nothing to do there. How They Name Constellations

I have been always wondering what is so special of the constellations. Why people had chosen some stars and named them constellations. How they had invented their names? Because if you look at the stars, in Leo for instance you can not say any lion there. Just few dots on the night sky that have been chosen by someone with a vivid imagination. I can not make the association with the animal king in any case. And any other of the constellations do not match at all to their names. You can pick another animal or anything with the same attitude and Leo can easily be drawn to be a mouse. It is a mystery for me how the constellations get their names.

Surely It Is a Good Investment

I may buy a house. It is a good time to invest since market has low prices. It is not an easy step but I am seriously considering buying one particular house. I think my wife will love it. It has a very old tuscan initial wall grille at the entrance and this surely makes the impression for the rest of the house. Old, massive, solid and in the same time stylish – this is how I would describe this house. It certainly needs some repairs but as general this is very good house with a history. Even I may live there when I grow old. I will either sell it or will spend my elder years there. I think I can not go wrong if I buy it.

I thought that the @ is a product of our modern time. I thought someone had made it up during our century. I was wrong thinking this. Monks during the middle ages had used this mark when they had been translating and copying the ancient manuscripts. On Latin it is “ad” while in modern English it is “at”. So far I had red about the following meanings: located at, belonging, purpose, approaching. In XV century Spanish traders had used it as unit for measure. It was also used in the accounting books as “multiplied”. It makes me really confused how this symbol has so many meanings. Maybe it is only speculations what the symbol was used for. For me it is the symbol that separates the domain and nothing else.

A man can become close attached to another person – his wife, his siblings his friends, sometimes to pets. But I am attached to an item. I know that soldiers name sometimes their rifles and feel affection to them. But I love one set of two wrought iron door toppers. They have been with me since the house where I had grown up. Where to Find the Proper Mirror

I have iron door toppers in my foyer and I had never thought it would be so difficult to match them with other decorations. I bought them for the last house we had rented but we moved and now I can see that it is hard to find the proper mirror for instance. In the last house the mirror was with wrought iron frame massive solid as the other decorations in the foyer. I had bought the door toper to match them but now I can not find such items on the market. I am searching for the proper mirror since two months and still I can not find one to fit perfectly. There is a great choice available but not such that matches my door topers. Maybe I need to quit the idea and to have a whole new decoration concept for my foyer.

I always want to eat the hard baked crust of my meal – no matter if it should be bread or turkey or something else. I love to eat everything hard baked. It is much tastier and gives me pleasure. A Good Gift But not the Perfect

I am about to visit my grandma. She is old now and she can not travel else I would have invited her to visit us at Christmas. I need to see her and I know she will be extremely glad to see me too. I know my presence is gift enough for her but anyway I want to bring some present with me. I had stopped on one scroll wall grille that will look lovely above her door. I am sure she will like it the only problem is that she can not mount it herself. I can do this for her but I prefer a gift that will not show to my grandma how difficult is for her to move. I had red that soon the movies about this young Harry Potter will end. I am definitely thinking it is a bout time to end this stupid series. I was fascinated by the first episode, I was a little disappointed by the second and from the third movie on, I even don’t watch them. The story is banal everything is predictable and the plot deserves no good comments. I wonder why so many people watch this movie? But finally they all came to senses. They stopped watching and this stupid series will end. Hopefully they will be a new better not a completely boring hero than Harry Potter.

I have an iron wall art in my bedroom. It represents some kind of sailboats. The boats look nice. They blend with the ambience of the room and I was happy I had made a good purchase. When I bought them the price was more than satisfying to me. I was happy until yesterday. I had noticed a small rusty spot on my wall art. It is really small one and can not be seen from distance but now I know it is there. This is what happens when you buy cheap. You get tempted by the price but quality fails you later.

My wife has a friend of hers that is snob to the marrow of her bones. I originate from a poor family but fortune was good to me and now I can say I have no financial problems. But I never forget who I am and from where I had started. I don’t like people who forget who they are and try to be something else they are not. Is Sport Helpful

I can prove to you the sport is not very helpful. You may laugh at my logic but you need to admit there is a real logic in what I am about to say. Everyone knows that training or practicing some kind of sport increases your life expectancy. You can add like 5 years and even more to your life. But stop here for a moment. How much time you need to practice everyday some sport? Not only have the hours spent in the physical activity but the time has spent for transportation, the money has spent for equipment. If you draw the line you will se that sport has given you time but in the same way it is consuming time. So sport it is helpful but only if you want to be busy – else I see no point.

What to Do with My Grilles

I was in Italy this summer. I had brought presents from Italy for me and for my entire family and I had even such that I don’t know what to do with them. I have bought wrought iron grilles from there and I have no idea what to do with them now. I saw them, I liked them and I bought them. It seemed so easy to me to do this. This is a mortal sin. People must be humbled and ashamed of what are they doing. A man can not be the Creator. To try to do this is offence of great consequences. Castles’ Power of Attraction

I want to live in a castle. I always go to visit castles when I am on vacation. I even have french wall decor that reminds a middle age castles’ decorations in my home. It is fascinating how people used to live in castles. There is romance and some power of attraction in the old castles. I can sit and enjoy there for hours. The magic of the knights and the ladies lives inside the castle walls. I want to be a knight from those old times. I want to live in a castle. It would be great if I can do this.

Hibiscus Tea

This hibiscus tea is one of my favorite herbs teas. The taste is a little acid but not too acid like lemons and has just the correct acidity. Color is intense red and is very good color too. I like to see how red fog starts to fill the cup when I put inside the tea bag. I speak about this tea because when I drink it I start to feel hunger. Even if I had just eaten even the most lavish meal I still feel hunger. With lemons is not the same. If I eat lemon it kills my hunger, but hibiscus tea makes me hungry. It is very interesting to know why so is.

No Need for Originality

I don’t have the scruples of being original when it comes to decorations or clothes or any other vogue. If someone has already found something good then why to busy my brain spend time and efforts to seek for something different. Actually if someone has found something good then the “good options” are one less and I have my option’s seeking with one less. Why to seek from less options when I already have one. I do this all the time and it saves me a lot. This vacation I visited Japan. In the hotel I saw asian metal wall art. It was good looking and I directly took it with me. I paid the price to the reception of course and this was all my efforts. I saved myself hours of wondering what where and how to buy. I have it now on my wall and it is sitting there just fine. No need to be original, you must be efficient.

The Best Way to Learn Language

If you try to learn a new language I think your determination to do this is not the only factor that will finally contribute to the successful learning of the language. Even if you listen and speak that language, even if you watch movies visit lessons regularly, it is not certain weather you will advance quick enough. My experience so far is that you need to start to think in this language. And the best way of thinking is to try to convince someone that you are right on this language. I think arguments must be included in all foreign language lessons. People must try to convince each other. This way the brain is forced to find a way of expressions. This way you seek and remember those means of expression – i.e. the language.

To Live in Middle Ages

Sometimes I think it would be great if I had the opportunity to go back in time and live in middle ages. Not in the dark times but during the Renaissance. People had some very bad times in middle ages but the Renaissance is a very bright period. There is huge romance in those times. There is a great zeal for discovering the humanity. I wish I was there in those times to participate in those glorious events that took place then. I will very happy if I can go back and shake hands with Leonardo. It will be great to live in the middle ages or at least visit them for a while.

Strange Taste Mix

Chinese are very different people. I think they are very strange. As a proof to this I can give you the decoration of the china restaurant I visit often. I like the china food and this is the reason why I go there. The cook is very good and I think this is the most important in one restaurant. Tasty and cheap food is the major attraction in this restaurant. The food is okay but the exterior is funny. They are those Asian motives all around and suddenly the owner had decided to install on the wall a southwestern wall decor. I haven’t seen this in other restaurants – to mix the themes. Maybe this china guy wants to pay respect to the culture in the country he is living now, but this is not the way. Chinese are strange they mix and adopt everything.

Respect to the Teachers

When I was at school I respected my teachers. I did that because my parents were telling me to do that and because everybody in my school had respect to them. I guess I was in a good school because I know that it is no the case in all schools. I think respect to the teachers is the first and most important thing when you start your education. If you learn to value what you have in the schools you will learn to value yourself the others and be a good member of the society. I think they should be another subject in schools – respect to the teachers. I think a person ho had not realized the need of this must not be released in the society since it is a Trojan horse for bad behavior.

Nice Hotel

This summer I and my husband went on vacation on isolated mountain hotel. We let the kids go with their uncle and we both made the best vacation ever. The hotel had everything nice but the best was his garden. It was a little cold during the evenings but we were sitting together with my husband on hard a bench looking at the fire in the big fireplace in the middle of the garden and I was feeling nice warm and cozy. There was garden wall art made of wrought iron and the flames were dancing on the forms making shadows to appear larger and fantastic. The smell of the unprocessed pine trees was filling the air and I was intoxicated by it. I think I can live with only this – my husband next to me, fireplace and the smell of pine trees. We will go next year there again. It was the best vacation ever.

I always thought that the rule as more as better applies almost everywhere. I did that with my washing machine. I thought that as more powder I put inside as better the clothes will be washed. I thought also that as more foam inside as better. As I understood lately I have been totally wrong. As it occurred washing machines need the exact dosage of washing powder. The foam created inside is bad and is negative to the washing process. First when I put more washing powder I pollute the environment more. I spend also more money to have not very well washed clothes. I need to read those manuals more thoroughly it is all written down there.

My dog is very lovely Black and Tan Coonhound. He is adorable loving creature but he is also such a trouble. I tell him not to make troubles but sometimes he acts as if I had said to him to do it. Last week I put on our house outdoor wall decorations for better looking. They were figurative wall sculptures made from raisin and a little metal on them. I put them high but as it seem not high enough for my Barky. I saw him yesterday chewing one of the sculptures. I was very specific and hard in telling him he is not supposed to touch them. Today I saw him chewing another one. What to do with him?

It is about one wine grapes wall art. I plan it to be a present to my parents when we visit them this year. It would be clever thing to become a citizen of Greenland. The island is quite huge, quite non-populated and for certain they are many riches hidden below the ice. When I enter the store or when I browse internet I find dozens of decorations of my liking. I want to buy them all and try them in my house. But when I bought my first decoration from internet supplier (it was one piece of wall art trees) I realized I had lost myself in all the abundance of options I have seen. The wall art was very pretty by itself but it was not fit to the living room I intended to put it in. I didn’t reckon the size and it was very small for the scale of the room. The colors were match but the theme was not corresponding to the furniture. So I decided prior to buying something to print a picture and I place it where I want to put the stuff in order to see if it is a fit. I also have a ruler and I mark to see the spot it will cover. I did that and now I have perfectly decorated house.

When I boil meat I always leave it to remain for a few hours in cold water. I also always get rid of the bouillon. I know that in many cooking recipes they use the meat bouillon but I am rather suspicious to it. I know that cattle-breeders use a lot of stuff to produce meat with good quality free of diseases. They certainly use some medicaments to have a better yield. I wish they were not doing this but it is inevitable. I like to eat meat and I don’t want to pay a triple prize for it. So using medicaments is necessary, but I also don’t want to eat cow hormones and antibiotics. That’s why I am getting rid of the meat bouillon. I think most of the bad stuff goes there. I am not doctor or chemist but I suspect I am right about this.

Being rich is not for everyone. Our neighbors had inherited substantial sum from distant relative (sounds like fairy tail but such things happen in real life too) and this changed them and now I have a feeling I even don’t know them. Suddenly they showed interest in arts and started collecting things. Now they have metal wall cross hanged in their bedroom which is a collector’s item but has nothing to do with their taste as I know them. They have a classical painting which they had put in the living room. Painting costs a fortune but it is an item neither beautiful, neither interesting, neither with practical value. They started to fill their house with random flashy things next to ancient pieces of art. They started to walk and talk differently and these are not my neighbors. Still I have a hope in them since they had not abandoned their house. I wish my old neighbors return back. I want fellows with whom to drink my beer, to go fishing and get dirty not snobs with whom I have nothing in common.
